Cozy Peach Cobbler

Matt was at it again... now he thought to himself, "if I can make apple pie, then why not peach cobbler?" It was quite tasty, especially with a big scoop of vanilla bean ice cream...mmmm. I think he's determined that he'll stick with the apple pie, he thought the cobbler was more work!

Last Snow

Tyler's first time out in the snow... He had a blast. It was about 15 minutes of fun on the sled and walking in the snow before he starting losing his mittens and getting very cold. (By the way, this snowfall was back at the end of January, I'm still catching up on the blog!)

Matt's Famous Apple Pie

Yes, in January, my husband randomly took up apple pie baking! He's made two pies thus far and they are quite delicious! He made everything from scratch (well, minus the pie crust thanks to pillsbury!), he even trimmed out the lattice work crust for the top! I got to assist with pinching closed the dough edges and helping pour the hot topping over the pie. Here's a preview of his masterpiece:

A Visit From Uncle Angelo

Back in January, we sort of had another mini Christmas when Uncle Angelo came for a visit. As you can see, Tyler enjoyed some presents (thank you Uncle!). Uncle Angelo got a lot of good laughs from Tyler as he kept trying to snatch Uncle's keys from his belt loop.
