More Cute Pictures!

Tyler and his baby sister snuggled in bed this morning.

Totally relaxed!

Mommy bought sugar cookie dough for Daddy and Tyler to make cookies after baby was to arrive (yes, I bought the cookie dough the night BEFORE I had Sabrina).

My doe-eyed boy...

The Day Without a Post

Sabrina enjoying some awake time

Friday at the Chiodi household was a very long day. Thursday evening being our first night home with Sabrina was the typical first night at home with a newborn. Matt and I could scarcely even count whether or not we got a full hour of sleep during the night. We are not coffee drinkers, but sure partook of some coffee Friday morning! My sister came for the day to help out with Tyler and she made us three absolutely wonderful meals. She was a huge help to our weary selves! We actually were able to get Sabrina to her first pediatrician appointment. She passed with flying colors, although, I don't know if we did so well ourselves. I remembered the diaper bag complete with diapers, cream, burp cloth, and all of Sabrina's pertinent hospital paperwork, HOWEVER, I sort of forgot to bring a change of clothes, you know, "just in case". Well, Matt no sooner undressed Sabrina to be weighed, when she peed all over her clothing and soaked the table. Our nurse was so great, she found us a tshirt (sized 4T) and fleece blanket to use to bring Sabrina back home. Ahh, these things happen when a parent gets no sleep, especially to this tired and re-cooperating mommy who literally just got home from the hospital. It does make for a memorable story!

Hospital Discharge Weight (12/3): 7lbs. 1 oz.
Friday's Weight (12/4): 7lbs. 2 oz.

The doctor is thrilled that her color looks great, she's eating great, and already beginning to gain weight. We aren't scheduled to bring her back until she is a month old.

Tyler placed Sabrina's blankie on her belly and then placed his own new blankie (otherwise known as "B") on his own lap.
