And... we're off! We back out of the driveway all packed to go to Ocean City, New Jersey for a whole week!
After arriving at the beach rental, we sit and get a snack and color for a little while.

1st Day at the shore was rainy and cloudy so we headed out to the aquarium in Atlantic City. Look closely, for Tyler behind the fish above!

We wandered around the outside of the aquarium for a while and had a snack.
Went up to the boardwalk each evening for a treat... this night we had french fries!

All Tyler wanted to do was dig, dig, dig and he was happy!

Tyler's favorite ride: the helicopters, which he rode twice in a row. We had some "issues" getting him off the chopper ride because he loved it so much, haha.
We took a surrey ride one morning with the kids... they loved about 30 minutes of it, and so did everyone on the boardwalk as they dinged the surrey bell and everyone smiled and waved to them. The last 30 minutes the kids started picking at each other, so we know next time that 30 minutes works the best!
Our friends, the Phipps, came to spend time with us at the shore, Tyler and Grace had a great time together and they were so cute with each other. Here, Tyler was trying to put Grace's shoe back on as it had come off.

Matt and I got to go for a walk alone on the beach and we did our best despite very high winds that afternoon!
Sabrina LOVING the beach... I ditched the baby tent and let her go wild and crawl all she could ever want. Thankfully it was a great morning at the beach as it had rained a lot the night before so the sand was really flat and perfect for her to play around!

Porch were we ate meals, read, and played games... so relaxing!
Tyler's favorite part of the boardwalk... the pirate ship... it shot canons (of mist) and the pirate and his parrot move around... he made us stop EVERY single night to watch it.
Our final night on the boardwalk, one final stop at mommy's favorite dessert place... the Dairy Bar for waffles and ice cream!
