4 Month Checkup

Sabrina had her 4 month checkup yesterday, can you believe it? She got a clean bill of health and is growing well, here are the stats:

weight: 13 lbs. 1 oz (41st percentile)
height: 25 1/4" (86th percentile)
head: 15 3/4" (25th percentile)

2 Month Checkup!

As you can see, Sabrina is starting to get more adventurous with toys... she can hold a toy for several minutes and shake it around. She is also continuing to get better at liking her bouncy seat and baby play gym. She is able to kick the hanging toys in her gym with her feet now, and loves watching her face in the mirror.

Last Thursday we had her two-month checkup and she did very well, minus her two shots. She cried the hardest I have ever heard to-date. The nurse asked me if I was okay, which I thought I was, but when she asked me, I felt my eyes fill with tears as I held crying Sabrina. Otherwise, the doctor was thrilled with her progress... her growth is awesome. She gained about 2 pounds from her last visit and grew and inch and a half!

Stats:
11 lbs. 5 oz. (67th percentile)
23.5 inches long (90th percentile)
15" head circumference (31st percentile)

1 Month Checkup

Sabrina had her one month checkup last week and we had a good visit. She is growing a ton and the doctor was quite pleased. Here are the stats:

9 lbs. 11 oz. (64th percentile)
22 inches long (86th percentile)

18 month checkup

Tyler had his 18 month checkup today and is a very healthy boy. He is certainly quite a handful these days, especially in the doctor's office. He can open doors now, and was trying his best to make an escape from the room we were in... while wearing nothing but his diaper and sandals. Good thing Pop-Pop Baumgardner was there to help distract him! Here's Tyler's stats:

Height: 34 1/4" (92nd percentile)
Weight: 28 lbs. 3 oz. (77th percentile)
Head Circumference: 19 1/8" (74th percentile)

15 Month Checkup

Tyler had a good 15-month checkup at the doctor this month. He's holding out in the 75th percentile range for height, weight, and head circumference. Here are the stats:

32" tall (77th percentile)
25lbs., 14 oz. (70th percentile)
19" head circumference (79th percentile)

Tyler's 9-Month Checkup

Before giving the stats for Tyler's 9-month checkup, let me note a milestone that happened this week. As you can see from the picture above, Tyler started pulling himself up the first landing of our steps last week. By week's end, he made the trek all the way to the very top all by himself as da-da followed from behind. Tyler was VERY proud of himself as he conquered the mountain-like obstacle and he peered back down the stairs.

Tyler is also becoming more and more vocal as he is understanding certain things we say to him. For example, when I ask him to get a book, his eyes get wide and he looks across the room at his basket of books. He will crawl over and tip the basket and start pulling out books, that of which he actually says the word "book" minus the "k" sound on the end.

His doctor appointment went well, another glowing report. He's a very proportional boy!

Height: 29" (grew 2 inches) 75% percentile
Weight: 21.5 pounds (gained about 3 pounds) 70th percentile
Head Circumference: 18 1/8th" 75th percentile

4+ mo Dr. Visit

The vitals:

Height: 26 1/4" (90th percentile)
Weight: 16 lbs 12 oz (95th percentile)
Head: 17" (70th percentile thankfully)

All is well and the dr. said he is tracking perfectly. He had some shots which he didn't like very much but thankfully the nurse had an elmo plate which distracted him almost immediately...amazingly short memory when it comes to pain ;-)

In other news--I have to do the local taxes this weekend so wish me luck. Federal & State were done in Feb.

Two Month Peditrician Visit

So it appears that Tyler is still growing by leaps and bounds--check out these stats:

• Weight: 13 lbs 14 oz (90th percentile for weight)

• Height: 24.5 in (95th percentile for height)

• Head Size: I'm drawing a blank but he's in the 75th percentile
