Longwood in Winter

We went to Longwood Gardens with my Dad and Beth on Martin Luther King Day and toured around the indoor exhibits with the kids. We spent the most time in the children's garden where the kids are always certain to be soaked by the time we leave! It was pretty cold out that day, but the sun was out which helped the walking from place to place outdoors.

A Very Special Birthday

Well, here we are, Christmas morning. Here's our finished product and tradition: the Christmas waffle. It's not just any waffle, it's a very special cake make just for breakfast on most meaningful birthday ever...

"But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

Luke 2:10-12

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Waiting to open gifts.

Catching up...

Last weekend when the weather was beautiful and warm, we went up to Marsh Creek State Park and stayed for a few hours. Tyler had a blast playing on the playground and looking at the lake.

Does ANYONE think she looks like Matt as a baby here?? I do.

Thanks for the cute outfit Nona!

Bella and Sabrina

Bella, Sabrina, and an uncooperative Tyler.

We went to visit our friend Bella and her new baby brother!
