More Milestones...

Tyler is nearly 5 months old now! It is so hard to believe how fast time is going. Tyler is getting better and better at holding his own bottle. He's able to feed himself initially, but as the bottle gets less full, we have to assist him to make sure he's not sucking air.

We think he may be teething with his behaviors lately. We can't see any white emerging, but he's fussy in the evenings and biting everything in site. I started putting baby washcloths in the freezer for a short time and letting him chew on those in the evening.

In one of his crying fits a few nights ago, he managed to finally flip himself over from his back to his tummy, which takes a bit more muscle that going from belly to back. He also is rolling onto his side from his back, so he is able to wiggle himself around in a circle. If I put him down on his back on the floor, he has rotated himself 360 degrees.

The other cute thing that Tyler has discovered is water. He reached up at me one day to hold my glass of water... with his mouth wide open, of course, so I let him have a sip. HE LOVES WATER. He gets so excited every time he sees a glass of water anywhere.
